Donagh formed Maidsfield on May 2nd 2003 to focus on driving sales growth within technology companies. This focus draws on Donagh's expertise in defining, selling and delivering technology solutions, and builds on twenty years of technology development, sales and business ownership, investment and management.

 

A software technology professional with a business and sales focus, Donagh graduated from Cork Institute of Technology in 1989 with a BSc in Computer Applications. From there Donagh worked with PS Squared and CompuSense, developing Engineering and Desktop Publishing products and working with customers worldwide.

 

In 1994, Donagh established Vistech Software. Vistech sub-contracted software development services to the software industry and, over the next seven years, became one of the rising stars of Ireland's technology boom. Vistech featured in Deloitte & Touche Ireland's Technology FAST 50 for three consecutive years in 2000, 2001 and 2002. In 2000 Vistech responded to market forces and shifted its focus to the development and delivery of content management products and services.

 

Over the last twenty years Donagh has sold and delivered high-calibre IT systems to many well known national and international organisations, including household names like Irish Life and Permanent, Heineken Ireland, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Motorola. Donagh has experience of many types of businesses, a fundamental grasp on technology and a unique ability to visualise how they fit together. He relishes the challenging environment of emerging business, and thrives on finding innovative ways to deliver tangible business benefits through technology. As CEO of Campbell Informations, Donagh was driving a business selling eng ineering data management solutions to corporate level pharmacuetical companies based primariliy in the US market.

 

Donagh two great passions in business are High Growth Businesses and Industry Development. From this Donagh is an avid business networker and highly active in industry development initiatives and organizations: NSC Campus, it@Cork, Irish Software Association, Cork Institute of Technology Alumni and Enterprise Ireland commercialisation and internationalisation initiatives.
